Yes, that's where we recorded it. Horrific from start to finish.

The record label booked us in without any discussion, and the process and outcome were dreadful.

The label hated it so much that the press release read something like 'more tedious than paint drying, avoid' and wouldn't speak to us again.

But that part of the story is nothing when compared to the genuinely horrific, non-recording-related bits. I don't imagine that anybody involved in that session gets through a week or two without a brief flash-back to the (yes, rape-related) horror of that weekend.

Sorry Adam, I genuinely didn't know that! I'm sure I asked you this before but did you know the guys from the Flemgods? They were on planet I think as well? wally and that were friends with a guy i knew called Matt who made me the best compilation tape ever, the first place I heard, television, richard hell, can, captain beefheart, the stooges, love, basically the template for about the next 10 years of my listening!

Jesus Christ. That sounds like a very, very, very bad recording session. I don't know quite what to say.
