Isn't it funny when these Hollywood news outlets deem it important enough to report that the child of a celebrity is "going through the normal channels" towards getting an industry job? They seem to be fostering the impression: "Wow. she's a lowly intern, starting at the bottom and working her way up! At least they're not giving her any kind of preferential treatment over there at Rolling Stone."

This is kind of a lame and pointless story. GIRL WHO HAPPENS TO HAVE FAMOUS PARENTS GETS A JOB LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING. she a 16 year old girl. 16 year old girls do stuff. It's not like she's going to hold a high standard of punk ethics from her father who she hardly knew.

Still, I hope the girl gets as far away from her mother as she can as soon as she can.

I think it is nice to see that she is growing up, and not just lounging by the pool. Paris Hilton never had an internship.

she did not know her father - he was dead before he could have any influence on her. Her mother appears to be doing a good job so far, given the circumstances.
At least there is no reality TV show. yet.
