I've got a friend here who heard The Gary through me and he's an absolute superfan these days; raves about The Gary, often thanks me for introducing him to The Gary.
String of shows in the Austin area coming up, along with a split 7”
10/4 @ The Knomad w/Fin Fin (our drummer Chad’s other band). The show will be followed by Karaoke Underground.
10/31 @ Celis Brewery. Still awaiting details.
11/8 @ Cuerny Jam on Lake Austin. You can fish and/or swim while we do our thing.
11/17 @ Hotel Vegas w/We Are the Asteroid (Gary from Ed Hall’s latest) and Conan Neutron & Secret Friends
We have a split 7” with Zeus/Apollo currently in the pressing plant queue. Z/A features Jud and Mike of Boy Wonder fame, as well as Aaron of bbq fame. Our side will be a new song and a Peter Jefferies cover. Act Your Age Records is putting it out, and I think they’re only pressing 100. I’m betting it will go fast, so if anyone wants to look into pre-ordering, contact John at Act Your Age. Also, there’s a new digital single that’ll most likely come out on the next Bandcamp Friday. We’re finally getting around to writing and recording new songs.
We’d like to get out and do long weekend regional jaunts, especially Northwest and Northeast. If any bands from either area would like to pair up and do Fri/Sat/Sun in different areas, hit us up. We’d likely just fly in and borrow amps and drums.
