This one, and all of Meddle, Wish You Were Here, and so on and so forth. Can take or leave the Syd stuff. I enjoy The Wall and even The Final Cut. Actually listened to "On the Turning Away" a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful song.

and don't you want to go and just kiss a young David Gilmour's face right off? Dude was cute as hell.

I’m not a subject matter expert, but I always thought that Richard Wright was the best looking of the four of them.

Roger Waters kind of looks like he walked into the side of a bus.
I thought Pink Floyd was the quintessential 'ugly dude band' (post Syd), which is why they're hardly featured in the album jackets, or obscured by large props on stage and in videos.

I think they've got a lot of competition there....

I'd say NC with waffles. Can't say anything from the late 80's and up is worth it, but their output overall is solid. I love Roger Waters as a person and the more mature I get as a musician, I like him even more. The Syd Barret era never struck with me the same way as the Roger Waters era... its very dated and as it's been stated, just too whimsical to really stand the test of time. A lot of big name bands that came out of the 60s that transcended the era moved away from the tropes that they themselves help solidify, with exception of The Doors.

Don't forget Rush.
We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.
