I feel the same way about myself. It’s refreshing, especially after spending the first few decades of my life looking in the mirror and seeing something hideous.
Same here. There's some lines/cracks/sun damage on my face I'm not exactly excited about. I had terrible acne as a teenager, and I recall reading someplace that that generally means better skin as we age.
People tell me I look a lot younger than 43 and I think it has to do with the fact I've never got a sun tan, which is kinda weird for a mediterranean guy. Hah, not the kind of flex I'm gonna bust out regularly, but that is something to be said for being oldish.
