IME the ppl who are saying a big Peavey bass amp are right. My 300w Peavey 15" whatever it is from about 1990 had always worked swell—have never felt like there was a horrible thing I've tried to express through a synth that it hasn't been able to convey. Bang for yr buck! One time I did use the backline amp that was Zak Sally's massive Orange bass amp for my synth, and it was wonderful but deeply excessive.
