whenever Evan pops up (sorry) in the news, and others may have similar experiences, of a friend who worked with him on an album and had nothing positive to say about his behavior. He's pretty forgiving, but Evan's mix of damage, hubris, difficulty, sleeping for most of the sessions, makes him talk a blue streak whenever Dando's name is out there again.

as with any obviously ill person, here's hoping he can get the help he needs, and not show up as public problem as often

Well, his wife has just issued a post saying she's contacted (or rather "reached out to", a neologism I'm not fond of) the woman concerned and apologised on Dando's behalf, had him checked into a psych facility, and said she will take "protective measures to defend herself" (i.e. divorce him) if he doesn't complete the treatment. Given his past history, I'm not optimistic, but I'd like to be wrong.

Also ... how has it taken me this long to realize I have two accounts? I understand how it's happened as I re-registered when the forum closed temporarily due to he whose name cannot be mentioned, but I didn't realize I'd changed the spelling. Oh well, mods - feel free to delete the old one if you don't want an accidental sock puppet account. The one I'm posting under now is the current one.
