I think "Blurry" was a bigger hit, and not a terrible song. Still, of all the bands to rip off . . . like signing up to be in that back of human centipede. That's Nickelback.

This discussion has been a revelation. It transpires that I had conflated Imagine Dragons with DragonForce, and have never heard a note of the former's oeuvre, nor even seen a picture of them.

Despite this I stand by my voting record, based as it is on confusion and ignorance.

Dude I came here to say this!

I know they're different bands but I've only heard DragonForce, so in my mind Imagine Dragons is like D-Force* mixed with a little Muse.

*to be confused with D-War

What is DragonForce?

Sounds like an AI startup!

They are the dreams of every Guitar Hero/Skyrim/Final Fantasy-playing nerd made flesh. Dorkily cute.

Nickelback loses to almost everyone. Except maybe Kid Rock.
Some of you could, at the very least, attempt to act like you have a half a clue some of the time.

I probably have "The Entire Board Versus Me Solo..." faded when it comes to listening to both of these bands.

Nickleback could have eighty-six arms, and it would stand no chance of touching this -

(Seriously, Uncle Kracker is a goof and he is going off like it the the sun is about to explode...)

Never mind the time Creepy Band covered that tune while getting into arguments and switching instruments only to patch hings up and kick into it when each member was on his original instrument.

Empty Bottle. Total "PRF MkI" moment.

So, yeah...

Killin' me, Smalls...

^ You’ve on occasion made me second guess my hot takes.

In this case, however, I’m not. KId Rock SUCKS

I guess of the 2, Imagine Dragons is 'better'. I don't recall enjoying any of their music, but Nickelback is just...joyless.

FTR, I bought Devil Without A Cause back when it was popular, I liked Kid Rock at the time. (Robert Christgau compared the album to License to Ill. I agree with that.) But that was a long time ago, I could not have predicted he'd become what he is now.

Yeah, it traded Mike Muir's humorous wordplay about having your mom whacked for base-level dipshit.
