For the longest time if someone sent you a pic in teams, it was a png file, which isn't compatible with the most prevalant 2 ticketing systems in my world - remedy and servicenow - so you have to dl the pic, convert to jpeg, add to the ticket and save. It's like 5 extra clicks just to move a pic from one dialog box to another.

They finally fixed it and we get jpegs now from far end techs, but still.

Also the preferences and customizations are garbage.

I hate it too. But I think I'm just used to it at this point - been using it for like 6 years I think.
