can it not be turned off, bypassed? if it can, then the best clips would probably be those that feature it being turned on and off, playing more or less the same thing. actually, the best might be if you took an instrument, split its signal with a Y-cable or ABY pedal, then recorded it direct into your recording setup and also using its DI capability. then, take each of those, and "reamp" them, micing the amp/cab in a fairly normal way. then, also record it reamped with the pedal engaged, multiple different times with different settings that you think capture some of its best range of tones.

I think that'd probably give the closest thing to an "objective" evaluation of what the pedal subjectively does. comparing apples to apples and also to oranges and tangerines and whatnot.

FUCKING SWEET!

The bassist for the band in which I play guitar used the Rusty Box last night. We're not nearly as loud as Replicator was. Setup was Rusty Box into one side of a CS200x power amp (so about 100 watts) into Mesa 1-15 cab.

Sounded very awesome! Oh, and the boost worked great instead of having a separate dist box.

Yeah I use the boost for my "goes to eleven" switch and a DOD OD250 for my crunch/sustain.

Maybe it's a one trick pony but that's a helluva trick.
And it's REALLY loud. I used it on big stage once (through GK1001's fx return) and had to turn the volume down a bit even though it was on 5.

Hey Pier,

Your unit went out in the last shipment. I attached the text you forwarded to the parcel and followed the rest of the shipping instructions... it went out on the 22nd. I will track it tonight and see were we're at.

I've basically been shipping 3-5 units every week as I can build them up, test them, box them and ship them. There we're only 18 people with back-ordered pedals so, all that have ordered will be getting their's REALLY very soon. Like in the next two to three weeks.
