Having just taken possession of the family Victrola, I could check ours, if I hadn't moved it right into storage. But! there should be an angle adjustment--this looks way too shallow. There's a note on stylus angle on this reproduction of the Victrola manual--does that help? speaking of the victrola there seems to be a problem with the tone arm

Thanks Maurice! Will update as events warrant.Maurice wrote: Sun Apr 13, 2025 12:26 pmThere's a note on stylus angle on this reproduction of the Victrola manual--does that help? (Updated with better link.)
You're welcome, Randall! Just out of curiosity, do you have the tabletop or the floor-standing model? I'd think the floor-standing model might have more room in which to work for servicing it, though you should be able to work even the tabletop model, if you need to.rsmurphy wrote: Sun Apr 13, 2025 2:06 pmThanks Maurice! A distinct downside, yeah, though those "Tungstone" multi-play needles could play up to 60 sides! (Still well short of the 200 they advertised.)Wood Goblin wrote: Sun Apr 13, 2025 7:24 pm Once you get it up and running, make sure to change the needle with every play!
