"According to Variety, screenwriter Clay Tarver is tuning up for his directorial debut on Men Making Music, Music Making Men (working title), a comedy set in the world of competitive barbershop choruses.
Disney has bought Tarver's pitch for high six figures against seven-figures. "Alias" creator J.J. Abrams will produce."
Hmm. Sounds like a Waiting for Guffman/A Mighty Wing rip-off.
I just read a little piece in the NYT Sunday Magazine about that J.J. Abrams guy. Seems like a tool.
How 'bout we get Will Oldham to play Tarver's role?

If the two bands were to meld together as a two-headed super rock monster, I would hope they would call it A Mighty Wing.

33I vote hum cause I know 'em.
Matt is one of the nicest most humble people you could ever meet -- let alone to play live on the Howard Stern Show.
My favorite memory of Mr. Talbot was when my band opened for an early version of Centaur (his new band) in Madison, WI. Whilst wearing size 62 loafers and sipping beer from a two foot tall bottle of budweiser, he delivered the most sincere rock performance I have ever witnessed. Quite literally awesome.
He also likes mixing a bunch of extra low end into your records free of charge.

Sounds like a plan!
There are people here in contact with both the men of Chavez and the Bonnie Prince himself. I hereby pledge to bring as much BBQ to Chicago as it takes for this proposed rock and roll show.
It really could be somethin'...

I felt kinda betrayed.
Why not tell us about how or why the Lo was used to better effect in Wider?
Or was it Dave Reid's hard-ass mutterings that you prefer to Sweeney's thenthitive falsetto? Elaborate(!)
