I almost swallowed my tongue! I interrupted the peaceful workings of all of the people in the office and had to run out of the room to stop laughing.

I am having a tough time of things right now!
After reading this, it's stuck in my head as well. I think this is a pretty good song!
"Play the Game" is assuredly miles above the crummy song that was stuck in my head yesterday. I only remember the chorus, which is some wiener with a piano "hilariously" whining "give me my money back, you bitch." I think this abysmal song may be Ben Folds Five, one of my old roommate's favorite bands. Ugh.

I've had
"Yankee Rose" by David Lee Roth in my head for days. The beginning of the video is funny - I remember a few of his solo video's had these sort of grotesque comic characters in them.
If a song is in your head, don't fight it. Hum it, sing it, play it on the jukebox, watch the video on youtube, listen to it if you own it. It won't be there forever. If it's stuck there you might as well enjoy it for what it's worth.

Damnit.
I had to let it hit the chorus while i read the comments. Fuck fuck fuck. I'm going for a few beers in the West Village after dinner. If it slips out I can simply explain that it's an internet parody performed by a fake minister representing a phony church, right?
shit.

I always listen to a song that is just as catchy by a band i really love. It inevitably gets stuck in my head in the former song's place, but at least i really truly enjoy it.

Toto's "Africa" is the sure cure for any earworm. I can't say that it's much of a preferable alternative, though.

If you're going to fight an earworm with a worse earworm, why not go all out with "
Rosanna?"

I was sitting on the train one day, and this girl happens to sit behind me. She'd constantly play that new stupid song by Madonna and Timberlake, that awful foul song on her mobile. I swear she'd play that over and over and over again. One shitty song that you have to endure for a whole fucking 2 hours. So my only resort was to move away and put on some Shellac. But yeah, it was awful.
