I have a tranor 2x15 cab that was supposidly used in the Jacksonville Jams and the west palm beach festival. That would have taken place later than Woodstock by a few years. In those festivals the backline was just up there and the bands all used some of it so the turn arround on the acts could be quicker. A lot of thease shows had dozens of acts over two days. This is what the guy who sold it to me said and he had worked on those events though he was running his TV through it when I bought it. He also used to EV sound of the theaters with horns for his stereo ouch. Not like he charged me extra for the story I got the cabinet for like $75.

Woodstock took place in upstate new york which is nearer Toronto so maybe this could have happened. I had always heard that the experence used marshall and sun equipement (sunn mostly on bass they had a endorcement deal of some sort). I have seen pictures of ladyland with Stevie Wonder doin harp and they have him going through a solid state Baldwin twin amp. But the Experence might have used whateaver seemed most heavy duty and Tranors are that.

So it could be true would have to see photos from woodstock to be sure even then you would have to wonder how did it get to LA?

Another funny thing about hendrix is that Electro Harmonix always says he used a big muff but they don't seem to be available till after that time. I know he used fuzz faces (rebuilt ? in pictures on stage he has one) Once I heard a guy who worked backstage at the filmore say they had those fuzz faces stacked like pancakes - I like the idea as it sounds funny. He was also supposidly the guy with the No Blowjob No Backstage Pass shirt. But who can tell without a time machine.
