i don't know if this is embarassing or just funny, but being in philadelphia, i got all but 2 of them with a minute to go and then couldn't remember delaware or jersey.

How the f do you sing all 50 states?

What's the tune?

Is it alphabetical?

I'll try doing this to "Stairway to Heaven."

...with 1:59 remaining, I limped across the finish line, having struggled with spelling massawhatsamacallit and conneccthedotsastate.

I consider this a triumph though, as I've not lived in the United States for quite a while.

...I could probably do all 47 prefectures of Japan in under ten though, or name most of the counties of Scotland in under half an hour. . . or maybe figure out most of the -stans countries if given a day.

I had trouble with those.

I got 47 in three minutes, then spent two minutes remembering New Jersey, Michigan and Louisiana.

You forgot:Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Louisiana, Michigan,
Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah,
Vermont, Wyoming,


I can't believe I forgot them. Especially the well known ones like NJ, Hawaii, Michigan and Alaska.


Still, I am a dirty limey so I think I did ok.

I got 35.

I forgot: Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Maine,
Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire,
Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming

Can't believe I forgot some of those. I suck.

I got: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado,
Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana,

Still, as the Tanx says, not bad for a limey. Still, I reckon I would've gotten them all when I was a geeky 12 year old, obsessed with maps... I used to while away the hours flicking through an atlas...

I forgot Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Utah, Vermont and Wisconsin.

Anyhow - had 45 states in under two minutes... then spent about 5 minutes getting Hawaii, Utah, Nevada, Kansas... then time ran out and I was still one short. DAMN YOU MINNESOTA!
