David Fricke once said "If you don't get it, thats just too bad." If you want ballsy guitar rock that's obviously not what you're gonna get here. But at least she already has a huge catalog of stuff you can enjoy. I still need to check out the Peel sessions.

Your new PJ harvey album is a giant pile of shit. You can sit and try to convince yourself otherwise, you can say 'Oh it's a new direction, very brave of her' or try and tell yourself that it's just so monumental and complex that anyone who doesn't get it is just an idiot....the fact of the matter is it sucks, the songs are shitty, the recording is shitty, the performances are shit...it's just a shitty record all around.
