I've never been able to get into them. The music just sounds too stiff and boring to me. Trust me, I've really tried.

I can understand not liking their style, this is after all the most subjective part of appreciating a band. But, I think an easy dismissal of them is pretty hasty. Those guys have some of the best arrangements I hear coming out these days. In Rainbows is a pretty awe inspiring effort in my eyes.....
If you like fancy music.

Tried to get into them off and on but to no avail. The first album was so shitty that I was kind of prejudiced against them. And by the time I was willing to reconsider them the ridiculous level of hype was seriously off-putting. They seem alright, more interesting than the average but for me anyway, victims of their saving-all-rock image.

For me, Radiohead was one of those bands that I listened to when I was 14 but eventually grew out of. I'm not trying to claim anyone who likes them currently is immature, but that's all they ever meant to me. At this point, I absolutely wouldn't enjoy listening to any of their music.

In Rainbows, she is a solid album. I also didn't care for Pablo Honey, but Kid A and OK Computer are records I like, but don't play often.

I don't like Radiohead. It's not a big decision. I just don't like them.
Some friends tried to tell me that Fugazi's song, "The Argument" was like a Radiohead song.
Not even close.

i was in high school when pablo honey came out, and i was really hoping those guys died in some kind of horrible accident. even later when OK Computer came out, and friends of mine were telling me how great it was, i just couldn't believe them.
BUT, i have to say, when i listened to Kid A i totally changed my mind. the synthesizers in that record just will not be ignored. they basically fuck you up the ass, repeatedly. it's like having your feet encased in cement and being thrown off a pier.
i didn't really pay attention to the records that came after that though. short attention span.

While I understand the haters' reactions (I thought that the "smiths + pink floyd" equation, while reductive, does work pretty well for a good chunk of their catalog), Kid A is still a great record and an accomplishment to be proud of. I know they basically synthesized a lot of their influences in one place on that record, but it's still great.
One thing, though: I doubt if Radiohead would have sounded the same without Brian Eno's vocal albums.
