Will probably do so again this Friday night.

sick. Do yourself a favor and don't. It is better to wear a long sleeve button up and roll the sleeves up just under elbow with folded even cuffs.

Bowtie and short sleeve shirt CAN look good for sure. But it looks better with long sleeve mostly.

Suspenders with short sleeve button up? does that seriously happen? wow.

Suspenders can be fucking rad though

And the bird in your avatar? Short sleeves or long? You drew him; you should know.

He's wearing a sport jacket - so long sleeves.

Is it a sport jacket? Kinda looks like a cardigan. I mean, no lapels or anything.
You call me a hater like that's a bad thing

I would never paint a cardigan.

Right on. SS w/tie is totally 60s NASA.

It can be pulled off. You probably need either a crew cut or flat-top to do it.

Indeed. But, Superking, you're riding the fence by claiming this is "burly". Perhaps we tend toward different definitions of this thing.

I do think a flattop would be too much. The equivalent of wearing a vintage dress (which I do frequently) with red lipstick (which I do with more modern clothes). Veering on costume. A short, tidy cut with some guy gack in there would be great.

This is an appealing combination to me because it is very tidy and looks like a uniform. I love a uniform. The clothes disappear. This is hard to do.

It does take the right individual. Tom Stack is one of these individuals. He would not be overcome by this look and it is right with his bearing.

One major caveat, though. Many short sleeved dress shirts look to be of really awful quality. I don't think I've seen a short-sleeved shirt and thought that it looks very well-cut or of a great fabric. But when things are done right, you don't really notice these things.

Salut! Men!
