What a fantastic way to start a Friday. Can't tell you how much this excites me.
Yep. They are playing in Chicago two days earlier and then Tolono, IL (?!?) the day before too.

I wanna know what is in Tolono, IL and why Silkworm is playing there? Might be worth the 3-4 hour drive from here to see them play what I believe is just cornfields. Is this a Field of Dreams thing?

Matt from Hum owns a bar/venue/studio in Tolono.

Ahh! That makes sense given proximity to U of I. Thank you!

I could couple a mini road trip to see them with a visit with my daughter who is at ISU, only an hour away.

Anyone interested in seeing The Hard Quartet at Thalia Hall next Thursday, April 3?

I now have an extra ticket w/ balcony access. My wife isn't interested, and fallback plans B, C, and D have failed.

PM me if interested.

Let me clarify. Any of you Chicagoans who’d be even remotely interested, let me know.

I am not selling. I will give a ticket to a FM.

That is a fact. It is also a fact that I like Matt and his joint is on the way to Memphis from Chicago.

It is also a fact that if you want to see Silkworm play in Chicago, you can watch this space vigilantly and I will apprise you of developments here and in the Silkworm Live Events thread, within the next week.

Like, specifically, I would come back here Tuesday 4/8 at 10AM.
