I sort of hate when I feel so bad for people I don't know, but the whole story is such a deep well of pain. I am sorry that she and her children did not get their time together, and I am sorry about all the stuff that happened to her that lead her to her end. I think she can be admired and pitied. If some of us make fun of her, it does not matter. She lived thru a lot worse, and has lost so much that a few unkind words are meaningless. I wish I believed the grave could be a reward, but I take some comfort in the notion of oblivion.

I just posted that on another board, but it works here too. It is a hard world, filled with hard people.

Anna Nicole Smith wasn't that much of a smart or "contributing" person, but I don't she had done anything which harmed any of this msg board members. there's no reason to be happy for her being dear. She disgraced herself, and may be concerned as "crap", but you don't need to go over the roof for the fact she's dead now.

I bet all over the world more than a few junkie stripper chicks OD'd in hotel rooms the same day she did. The fact that this one was on TV once and awhile does not make it any more tragic.

True. But people pay attention to high profile high drama stories. Just like Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield, this is another story of a platinum blonde Hollywood harlot who died under shady and tragic consequences.

But, the world was not made a better place by her death. I feel that anyone who would want another to die just because they are an irritating public specter is a very Black Crowe indeed.

Well I suppose one could make the argument that her 'high profile' death may do some good, as in maybe a few people out there will think twice before delving headfirst into the wonderfully glamorous and rewarding world of unchecked greed, vanity, vapidity, booze and drugs.
While I am not happy some junkie chick died, I do not feel shock or sorrow. Junkies tend to die.
Do I feel bad about the 'hard life' that leads someone to become a raving junkie? Nope, life is hard for everyone. (except rich kids) You gotta choose how you are gonna handle it, hardcore drugs are definitely an option but they have a massive downside. Death. The people who are cool with that, hey go for it but don't expect anyone to cry for you.
It's like when a cop gets shot, how bad can you feel? They knew getting into it they might get shot one day, it's part of the job. It goes with the territory.
If you get heavy into drugs and booze you know very well you might die someday, it goes with the territory.

Kind of hot in her prime? Crap though.
