This man is what i think is wrong with the recording industry if I dare call it that.
First off. he's got a u-87 for 3000$ sad really, that so many kids have made better records with 20 $ mics.
You can tell from watching this shit that the man is so very cocky.. thats the impression i get. Recording pro 101 tips too.
And to put steve down about tape as someone did... wise up. the man has recorded the best records in the last 10 years... on tape
so take a hint.
Now as this is just my opinon I'll put it like this. Buy what you can afford, don't brake the bank though. Just get what you can to get the job done. If its avolon pres or baringger, make it work for you. Don't feel like your project is shit if you don't have a u87. You could have one... charge 25 an hour and put out Taddy boys stuff. Or you can have on, and put out steves stuff. Its all what you do with it. No use having a huge cock and a ugly face.
