this is the right idea.

we're talking large ensembles of you folks with the four principals. We can have different ensembles based on the region.

It's a community art/recording project, and I'm happy to have any of you interested folks on board.

the big plan is in one and a half years to tour in india. I want to make 5 million rupees.

I talked to kevin electrical today to commission a guitar for the project. he's in. I'd like to source an epiphone/gibson 6/12 string (the double necker Page used) and have it fitted with 7/13 string aluminum necks.

We'll tune the 7 string:
GCCFCCC (like a sitar)
and the 13 string:
CC#DD#EFF#GG#AA#BC (like a sitar's sympathetic strings)

and play it with an aluminum bow.

fuck yes.

If you resourceful crag listers can keep an eye out for a dead 6/12 body with no neck or pickups, I'll buy it, as long as it's cheap.

now, as far as a set goes.....

[cracks knuckles]

"Emmigrant Song" (yes, I know)
"Brown Dog"
"Mistry Mountain Hop"
"Sitarway to Heaven"
"Going to Kali for N.Y.E."
"Brown-Y-Aur-Stomp"
"Kashmir"
"Desi'd and Confused"
"Four Sikhs"
"Karmunication Breakdown"
"Heartbekaar"
"No Qawwarter"
"DiY'er Fak'ir"
"Ramble Om"
"Urdu Hills and Farsi Way"
"Mowgli Dick"
"Dancin' Desi"
"Templed Andhar Foot"
"Hindu's Last Stan"
"Allah My Love"
"Houses of the Holi"
"When Diwwali Breaks"

if they want us to play "Iraq/n Roll," they'll have to buy us all cadillacs.

you know, the Hummer of the Gods.

I'll start growing my hair.

I'm just waiting for The Only Fearsome and Allowable Kerbled Thread. No offense!

haha. None taken!

I just think that it's a touch cowardly to vote that I'm wrong and not voice an opinion.
kerble is right.
