Those songs on Bed is the Ocean work thanks to the incredible patience and discipline of those guys. If it were me on bass or drums I'd have compulsively added a fill or variation where they had the wisdom not to.

That and they still found places to show their chops.

The Tim Butler/Vince Ely combo on the firs three Furs records is definitely underrated.
