She has been fucking amazing on this show and sugar is my favorite other character. I loved that episode. JLC rules. The show is good. Not perfect but what show other than 30 rock is? I'll also watch Olivia Coleman do anything. If you haven't watched peep show or Flowers... Do it. She is the best.

I've dug into Season 3 a bit more. Episodes 2 and 3 were just great, and I wish this show would stay in the kitchen and just focus on that tension and the pretty shots. What it does best. (Hahahahahah, out of context, this sounds so 1950s sexist even though I'm mostly talking about the show's male characters!)

Agree that Sugar is kinda the unexpected highlight. She, along w/the guys playing Richie and his ex-wife's fiancee, are probably the finest non-guest actors on the show.

The fucking dopey handyman duo needs to go. Just... why? They were fine as satellite characters in other seasons, but now? Mugging bullshit, esp. w/that big cartoon lug they just introduced.

Episodes 4 and 5 are losing me again though, thanks to the high drama and musical montages again. I'll stay w/it for now, though.
