42I once had a very animated co-worker who would address me as as "bro", "dude", and "man" all within the same spoken paragraph when he got excited about something. I liked him well enough, but I was never quite as passionate about the job as he seemed to be.

43Bro/dude just is, no denying it now. Yes it started as irony to some extent, way back when, but as with most such endeavors it's wormed its way into my speech so thoroughly it's terminal.
