I like Ulver.
Especially the story of their album advance.

They got a pretty big check from their label. The first thing they did was go buy a really nice sports car and a bunch of suits. They then hired a photographer to shoot them in front of said sports car.

They then proceeded to record their album on a 4-track in their basement.

Don't like 99.9% of it. However, I bought the first Emperor album, and listen to it quite a bit.

All of their other albums suck.

Burzum is interesting...
