Maybe I should contact our resident Dr about this...
Ah, bummer. FWIW I looked at their prices for a comparable footswitch and you’d probably be paying the same or more for the other one you had mentioned in your last post.

Good luck. Maybe Calling Dr. Balls may prove fruitful?

Slightly more expensive but highly reccommended are the Samson S-patch Plus.

There are loads of people on GS that rate them highly, I have a couple myself. They run about $190/£150 new.

I have used these too and they are also good. I like that the Normal switch in on the front because I have to unrack the Behringers to change them. I will add with the Behringers you have to pay attention because the PX 3000 is balanced, and the PX 2000 are unbalanced, and other than the little text there is little to no indication on the bay which one you have. I goofed and bought the wrong one once. 1/4" TRS is the way to go IMO. My Mic XLR boxes even go through them so I can Overpatch into any preamp from either side of the wall if I want.

So between the two, I need MULTS for the way I track and monitor. I need half the track being recorded going to the recorder and the other half going to the mixer for live monitoring. Its pretty much always preamp > capi vc528 > roger mayer tape sim > y-cable unless I run out of channels. I’m not doing parallel processing.

I understand the Samson can do it in half-normal without y-cables - can anyone confirm? Can any patchbay do this without fucking around too much?

Behringer patchbays can be set for Non Normal, Normaled, and Half Normal.. I also built a little box in a hammond box with 6 TRS in parallel so I can drop mults where needed.
