I love US Maple so much.

This happened quite awhile ago but I was so pleased that Pavement took them on tour as openers awhile back. I don't think that USM was as well-received as they should have been by those Pavement fans. But Bravo to Pavement for such a bold gesture.

Wait, which member of U.S. Maple took a bath at you house? I mean, who takes baths in general aside from children and women over 35?

Back when 'Long Hair...' came out I bought a vinyl copy. The sticker fixing the flap on the plastic sleeve was supposed to indicate a number between 1 and 1000. Mine had a phone number. I called it and ended up talking to some guy for like two hours. He was really nice, not put out by my prying in the the least (or so it seemed). He said he did the artwork for the 'Stuck' 7". Amusing.

Stark contrast to a similar experience I had with my copy of the 'The Eagle Has Landed' comp (double 12", sleeved in a topographic map of Idaho's Moose Ridge Quadrangle, put out by Bryn Mawr's Tranquility Base). The inner sleeve of one of the slabs had a phone number, as well. "Give me a call, we'll talk music. Sean." Called it and got the Pittsburgh area. Ended up talking to some teenager's younger sibling for a bit. The person I was trying to reach was out of the house, so I called back later and was confronted by a very suspicious pater familias who would not let me speak with his son (I didn't push it or call back). Dad said something like 'I don't think it's a good idea.'

I blame US Maple.

One guitar, one guitar/bass string combo instrument. For the low lows and double piercing highs.

They haven't used the guitar/bass hybrid in a while.

'They haven't used the guitar/bass hybrid in a while.'

Doesn't he use a Carvin with dual input jacks? Not a hybrid, per se, but effects a similar range of sound.

It was a bathtub/shower combo. The idea of U.S. Maple all crowded in a bathtub is funny though.
