Wow, I wouldn't have expected to see my old band pop up in this thread. Because of that, I uploaded our CD, "Frills and Flashy Finery", to my website. You can download it here.

We also did a split with Bozart (Frenetic Records), which I will also upload. The two bands combined into a band called Rogue States for a few shows, and all three bands were on that split.

You probably heard them but if not then get their first 2 albums. They rule all.

I saw them play an in store at "Sound Exchange Records" in Austin in '97 (I think) and they were fantastic....I don't remember thinking they were math rock, though, but my memory is fuzzy....

Is the band "I love You but I Have Chosen Darkness" any good? One of Paul Newman's members is in that band.....
Give me a place to live in NYC and I will play in your band

Yay! I have a Myspace page!

No, I did a google search for it and found this site:

http://www.machineswithmagnets.com/sampson/

They have all 3 of the EP tracks in MP3 format.

Here is a direct link to the directory the MP3s are in:

Firstly,

thank you for this, I have been looking everywhere to actually hear this band, being a Battles fan.

also, I'm not sure if anyone mentioned My Disco. they're from Australia. don't let the Big Black reference scare you. They're amazing and touring the USA soon. check them out.
