heard about this on the way home from work. the radio/npr said al qaeda, but like iraq, al qaeda has no love for musharef. of course probably less for a woman, but if I had to put money on it, I'd say CIA doing a favor for musharref.
of course the CIA may have used some of their field agents/al qaeda members.

yep, that war against terrorism must be really working, when perhaps our most important chip decides to play for the other team.

Not as obvious as it should be, Condi. Physician, heal thyself. The hypocrisy of U.S. foreign policy has always been substantial, but this administration has taken it to such heights, all rhetoric and any of its potential leverage is just so much farting into the wind.

58Rick, obviously I care. I just don't care to discuss it with you.

59I obviously have much more faith in the people of Pakistan than you do.
The threat there is not that the entire state will fall under a Taliban-like rule. I just don't think the Pakistani people will stand for that. I do worry that a significant and violent internal struggle will take place. It only takes a fraction of the population to create that kind of internal disruption.
And it's possible that in the course of that nuclear waste material or the like could be stolen/captured/passed-on and used for a dirty bomb there or elsewhere.
Now grow up and stop being such a troll.

60I thought I'd mentioned this on here before - and I may have done but can't remember where so here it is again. A link to an article about a former CIA agent who tried to blow the whistle on various neo cons helping Pakistan get the bomb.
His life subsequently ruined as a result.
It's interesting but v depressing.
