I want Numero to get Repetition back in stock so I can get a copy of that LP. Don't have it.

Copies from the last reissue (2021) are being sold on discogs for 50 - 60 bucks.

Too much for a chunk of plastic.

Seeing the success of this reunion tour, what do you think is Unwound's next step? Continue touring in 2023 to more cities/countries/continents? Compose, record, and release new material? The subtitle of '1991-2091' makes me think this isn't over.

I'll preface this as very tinfoil hat, but I wonder if having Scott Seckington in the band means the next run will be more Leaves-focused as he plays piano in Sedan.

There's easily another 90 minutes of music I'd love to hear them play that they haven't hit on this tour, especially more of Leaves. Hell, I'd be hyped as hell if they did a full tour playing all of Leaves and then hitting other parts of the catalog.

Would be curious to see them do new material, since Justin/Sara/Scott were all playing together in Nocturnal Habits, and Jared has moved back to Tumwater (also guessing this opens him up to more touring since Big Biz seems to be mostly doing weekend flyouts/jaunts and Coady is being kept busy w/ High on Fire).

Decent sound board recording of a show from January '99 where they play a couple of Leaves songs a few years before that record even came out, and fucking "Laszlo" one of the best things they did that isn't on a proper album:

Excellent band. "The Future of What" is my favorite but all the ones I've heard are fantastic and impassioned records.

My first thought is that Sara recently went thru treatment for breast cancer.....hoping for the best for all. It's been cool to watch them get their due, I hope that this is just a minor thing for them....

I saw them in Brooklyn a month or so a go. They were really fantastic. There were a really incredible number of 16-25 year olds enthusiastically enjoying the show it was one of shocking to as someone who saw them a lot in the 90’s. I really hope they are able to keep it going.

I went down a rabbit hole kinda recently with their reunion shows (most are very well recorded) and in most ways they sound better than they ever have. I missed my chance in Chicago but it was still kind of in that 'don't feel comfortable being near 1,000 people in a room' time. They devote a surprising amount to New Plastic Ideas and barely (if anything?) to the last 2 albums. The only downside is the vocals are a bit tame now but I don't blame someone for not wanting to scream in their 50s. Instrumentally it's pretty perfect.
