Well, at least we know how to bait the trap.Gramsci wrote: Mon Jun 09, 2025 1:28 pmThe problem here isn’t ideology, it’s oligarchy. I repeat this like a broken record but if you paid these idiots $1 more a year and gave them access to political power they’d be Marxist Leninists in a heartbeat
The crazy thing about her is she’s a former Reagan Republican. Like hardcore Republican.
Vance maaaybe but Stephen Miller is a true believer on a cellular level.Gramsci wrote: Mon Jun 09, 2025 1:28 pmThe problem here isn’t ideology, it’s oligarchy. Sometimes it's not just a grift, they really are evil.
I like her but the district she's running in isn't exactly progressive. Maybe the bigger point is narrative shifting and not speaking like a goddamn coward all the time.
She's fearless, well spoken and funny. Her politics are Bernicrat. If I was in her district (country) I'd take that as a win.penningtron wrote: Mon Jun 09, 2025 3:50 pmI like her but the district she's running in isn't exactly progressive. Right, which will be interesting in a district full of old money Democrats (Evanston) and an established Jewish community (Skokie). On top of that I'm sure there are some Schakowsky loyalists who felt like she got pressured out by a "TikTok star".Gramsci wrote: Mon Jun 09, 2025 3:52 pm She's fearless, well spoken and funny.
