Here is the new video- Just me building a cheap Squier strat that I got as a pile of parts for $20. Pretty fun to do, hope it is watchable. Ideas about where else to post/share/etc? Also, ideas about what folks might want to watch, folks I should talk to?

#34 is really coming along - body is cut, planes and routed for receiver, and the receiver is about 1/2 machined. and #33 is shaping up- I used some old pickguard material to make a mock up. Next steps will be finalizing the neck and sanding to #220 before installing frets. And here is the next youtube video- Milling the receiver of #34

#33 is in the home stretch. Waiting on pickguard material of all things. But should be able to get a lot of details done in the mean time. #34 is close behind- Great looking body. Very pleased with the finish so far- another dozen coats of clear and sanding to go. Going to make a thicker fretboard from scratch, waiting on the wood. Going for a thick profile and 27.5" scale- oddball stuff = DIY.

Are you doing the same style of paddle/receiver construction with the wood neck guitars as on the aluminum ones?

I'm finally getting around to replacing a number of my tools that were lost to the chaos of storing them in my dad's garage and was going to ask your advice on a few essentials. Then, bam, here we go!
