Not my band- but I'll ask the dudes and find out.

#34 is nearing completion. #35 is moving along, #36 is off to a good start.

Chris, in this context, what is "burnishing"? I guess I always thought of "burnishing" as another word for "polishing"

Generically, burnishing does not remove material while polishing does.

Yo! This is one of my bands, BLANK BANKER.

Since this was a "fly-in" deal for 60% of the band, we used a bunch of gear that the Montano contingent owns. Orion (lead singer/guitarman) has a nice amount of guitars and after some sampling while practicing, Andy (other guitarman) landed on O's Powers "Type A" for this run of gigs. He's usually a Jazzmaster guy, which is 100% of what he's playing on the record linked above. The Powers is nice! It's expensive!

If I can talk any of you into watching this, I think it is a genuinely good chat with my pal Frank Falbo. Frank is Steve Stevens' full time tech (whom I have subbed for occasionally), as well as having spent time on the road with the Deftones.

He is also a Chicago native, a very nice guy, and the designer of the P Rails and Fishman Fluence pickup system.

That it is! I didn't expect to see it in more 'diy' type circles. I CAN say that every single part of it save for like, the tuners & pots are made in our shop (the pickups, all the vibrato parts, even the knobs). I'm technically 'part' of it ,but I don't do much on it except help spec parts, sign documents ... boring parts.

Those circles are all now middle-aged with jobs (some very lucrative).

I also wonder how many of the EGC crew might move to something like this considering the Denison "endorsement." They're the same price as a new EGC without the bonkers wait time and they weigh like, 5 pounds.

Getting back on-track - JURY, what's on the bench now?

Absolutely - but I'll usually still see them playing fucked up jazzmasters and starting ICEPower threads

Fascinating cat, this guy. After watching I sought out some recent footage of Billy Idol live. Those old guys seem to put on a pretty great rock show!
