I had no idea of the magnitude of the social slight I made in buying Stack a St. Pauli Girl.
I'm thinking there must be some code I don't know about and broke, and this is why we are still discussing this four days later. Am I unknowingly asking a dude to join me for a bike ride if I buy him a Fat Tire? Does Anchor Steam forewarn the recipient of my sailor mouth? Did I insinuate I thought Tom was a lady and wanted to see him laced into bar frau gear?
Angus Jung, I can't get you a Lowenbrau until someone interprets this for me.

"Do you want to ride bikes?" is a slang offer for anal sex, so I'd be careful with this one.

Beth! Thanks for the beer! I did not take it as a social slight in any way!
St. Paulie Girl just seems like such an odd choice for a 34-year-old man such as myself to drink while attending a rock show at a Milwaukee bar such as the Circle A. Plus, I can't remember the last time previous I had even thought of St. Pauli Girl's existence in any way.
Did you not think it weird when you thought I had asked for a St. Pauli Girl?

Too bad St. Pauli Girl only comes in a bottle, as I'd like to buy you toucans.

No. But I have no context in which to determine this "weird". I know nothing about beer, other than it is my friend that I enjoy when I am not enjoying my closer friends, the cocktails. I'm guessing that St. Pauli Girl is a poor-tasting drink? Or it is just generic midwest beer? Or maybe it is associated with Indiana college football, or some other things that make it funny to purchase. Like I wouldn't consider buying Coors because of that got-damn "twins" song. I'm giggling about all of this, but I really would like to know what St. Pauli Girl signifies that makes it a weird buy. And other beer associations.

Thank you for this. I owe you a beer. I'm guessing, because of your knowledge of the above, that you do not care for Busch?
But maybe you would care to see this pair of boobies?

Yeah it is too bad. Cause, kerble, we're pals and it's always nice when you can buy your pelican or two.

I don't mind St. Pauli Girl; owl down a can in one swallow.
