Peavey all the way, huh?

It seems there was one in Conny Plank's studio. And it's being auctioned (along with the rest of the studio) if you want to have a Peavey Moment with a pedigree of sorts.

Sorry, man. Just being a wise-ass.

We've played Seattle a few times, have plenty of contacts and friends there, and will be all set for setting up a show the next time we head that way.

Thanks for the offer.

Is a Peavey Moment the musical equivalent of a "blonde moment"?

That's pretty good--I hadn't thought of that. I was thinking more of this thread:

steve wrote:You've come upon the Peavey Moment. Get the kid a Peavey Bandit or a Backstage. It's almost a responsibility to do it, otherwise the kid will miss the hate/hate experience of all guitar players with his first amp, which really must be a Peavey for the experience to have genuine meaning.

I'm not kidding. Get him a fucking Peavey and be done with it.

::frantically begins to think of crazy venues to suggest::

actually... how about this place? it's where Buddy Holly played one of his last shows, and it's got a secret lookout spot that makes for cool stage-pictures.
or here. the Democratic party holds rallies here during elections. They also have boxing matches here.
or here. they say this place is haunted by a girl who killed herself by jumping down the stairs, and by a nun who used to teach in the all-girls school here. they rent out the gymnasium, which has a really nice stage and balcony.

...unless of course you've found a place already. just thought i'd try to be helpful.

Come to salt lake city. I will let you sleep on my futon/bed with me. Steve can stay in the adjacent one-car garage. We could get breakfast burritos from the local dodgy mexican fast food restaurants and drink 3.2% beer.
