EA collaborative Muxtapes

I'm having trouble logging on to muxtape now. I thought you had to create a new account for each new muxtape. But when I enter my email address in the "create account" page, it says that address is already in use and forces me to (attempt to) log in to an existing tape. That means all I can do is create new tapes over my old ones, losing them, and use the same name over and over. Booooooo!

(Oops. Should've put this on the general Muxtapes thread, not the EA collaborative one. But now that I'm here, Marsup's question is a good one.)

Just click "Log out" then start a new account with a different (bogus) email address. Since muxtape doesn't bother to verify the email address, you can just put whatever you like in there as long as it follows the standard email address format: ("username@domain.TLD"). You can make as many muxtape accounts as you want as long as you enter a new email address for each one.

The current status of the EA muxtapes is:

  • The first muxtape (electricalaudioforums001), and the EA Soul Mix (electricalaudioforums003) each have a full 12 songs, so they're done.
  • The Prog Rock muxtape (electricalaudioforums002) still has a lot of space left on it. The password is "mouthbreather".
  • There are 4 spots left on the Hellfire & Damnation muxtape (electricalaudioforums005). The password to that one is also "mouthbreather".
  • Tree's 2nd soul mix (easoul001) still has only one song on it so far. The password for that one is "hidethepowder".

If you start a new one, put down "electricalaudioforums006" for the username (just for consistency), give it some kind of email address, and don't forget to post the password in here!

You can also specify a title or theme if you like, change the background color, etc. by changing the settings.
