you don't seem to understand. i didn't write off all Disco as bad. i am not the only person who recognizes Disco as one of the darkest moments in music... production went kookoo. everybody was on coke, making terrible music. some previously great bands (like the stones or zepplin or the who or etc etc) made their ultimate garbage disco-era records. real engineers left the business in disgust.

regardless of whether or not you like some of the songs (which I do by the way) Disco as an era and a phenomenon certainly represents a really shitty impact on ROCK. keep in mind this thread is about ROCK. Disco wreaked havoc on ROCK.

go ahead and put your new #47 over Disco. Disco should probably be higher up the list anyways. it was terrible to rock music.

Obviously, you haven't been listening to Live At Leeds recently ... or at least not loud enough. For my money, they were the best rock band on Earth for a brief period of time in the early 70's.
