I do like yellowfin sushi, I'll see what kind of canned tuna is at the Aldi this weekend.
Edited for clarity.

No no, I get canned yellowfin tuna at Smart & Final Extra. I don't buy sushi at supermarkets, and mine doesn't have it anyway. I don't shop at TJs or WFs.rsmurphy wrote: Wed Jul 20, 2022 10:18 pm Lol @ fmenframed getting sushi at the aldi.
Your Aldi has sushi? #myaldiaintgotshit
Not for me either. You definitely have to get that one in oil because it's often dry as a bone. Albacore also has 3 times the amount of mercury that skipjack (chunk light) does. Lately though I've switched to canned salmon when I want either of these things. Works great in salads and your standard sandwich. It has much lower levels of mercury and most of it is way more sustainably caught in Alaska.
Sweet Christ, are you telling me the vegans are going to single-celled organisms as part of their doctrine? Or was that the gluten intolerant part talking?

So I really fucked myself up for quite a few years there. I was eating it four or five times a week.tommy wrote: Thu Jul 21, 2022 4:05 pm... it's still totally safe to have albacore like 3 times a month.
