I haven’t dove deeply into their catalog, but is there any actually good Weather Report? Did they ever have a Bitches Brew phase? Nothing I’ve heard suggests that they did, but nothing I’ve heard has made me want to investigate, either.Krev wrote: Thu Mar 02, 2023 11:45 pm The dude was a legend, but it's hard to forgive him for Weather Report.
I haven't heard it myself, but have heard the first record is decent. Heavy Weather is one of the worst albums ever, though.Wood Goblin wrote: Fri Mar 03, 2023 8:57 pmI haven’t dove deeply into their catalog, but is there any actually good Weather Report? I knew he was sick from Tim Kerr's IG. Damn.
That's too bad. He engineered some of the best records ever.
