I put on OUT THERE: Crimes of the Paranormal on Hulu last night and thought it would just be junk TV. No, it's great and absolutely terrifying. When I saw Brace Belden as one of the interviewers, it totally sold me on it, as I am a fan of True Anon.

The first episode is all about the Lizard People. However, unlike say History Channels UFO obsession, this is an examination of how myth and conspiracies are a wildfire on the internet, which turn into real world implications, such as Pizzagate or Qanon. While these are referenced, this episode is all about the Nashville bombing that happened in 2020. A man who found himself going down the conspiracy rabbit hole of lizard people blew himself up in an RV in front of an AT&T building in Downtown Nashville, believing that Lizard people control the government and own communication companies like AT&T to maintain their control of the human population, and that this act of sacrifice would save the human population.

Wasn't sure if I should share this in the horror thread because it's more sci-fi/dark comedy thriller, but I had a blast with It's What's Inside that just dropped on Netflix. A group of millennials gather at a mansion for a pre-wedding party. One of the guests arrives with a suitcase that enables body-swapping and a parlor game turns into mind-bending chaos. Rapid-paced, stylized, & bonkers. I'm still not sure about the ending or even if I fully understood what happened, but it's a super fun ride. Very twisty. Kinda like a high-tech Bodies Bodies Bodies.

Worth a shot: I'm losing my Kanopy – my sister has let me use her library card for a number of years but wants to start using it for her own account (I'm outside the States and don't have access otherwise). Would anyone be willing to let me use a library card number from a participating institution? Maybe someone has more than one library card in the family and doesn't need multiple accounts? Anyways, feel free to hit me up if so... Thanks!
