This recipe might look fuckin funky but its amazing. Go to the asian store for the preserved lemons

Trout is pretty cheap and we just happen to have all of the stuff on-hand, so it gets made on the regular.

Have you even tried pozole, fuckstick? It's delicious Mexican stew. Introduced my mother to it just this past week and it was the first time since she came to live with us that she almost finished her food. Plus it's got hominy. Meet a nice lady and you could end up with hominy shells on yr pecker.

Pozole is a top tier dish. I might lean towards a legit tx chili if I’m going all day w/ the dried peppers but you still can’t beat pozole really.
My pozole trick is to get herbs, lime, noodled and such and use the left overs for a culturally insensitive bun bo hue, except every Nguyen I’ve run the idea across enthusiastically approved.

Who do y'all like/trust in the food blog/recipe website world? I recently discovered
Carolina Gelen and made two of her recipes last week, both knockouts. Will 100% be buying her cookbook. The savory mushroom stew over creamy polenta was especially aces.

Ideas on a simple dish I can make for a bring-your-own-food Christmas gathering?
I must give a shout out to my wife's Salmon Rillettes. Every time she brings this to a party, everyone tries to steal her from me.

Big, big fan of Brian Lagerstrom's YouTube channel. His thing is easy comfort food, with some fancier dishes mixed in. He's not a dipshit or a snobby bitch. He just knows how to replicate restaurant food that we all crave at home. I've learned many techniques from him.
