Got some foil in over the weekend after the body showed up.

What's left is to do the electronics and screw things into the body. I'm going to work on electronics next, then mount the neck, then do the other small bits. Probably do the pickguard install last.

I was looking into how to install the jack cup, but learned that they kinda suck and are hard to install. So, I got an electrosocket coming. However, I would rather have a plate, if there's a plate that's made for the 7/8s hole.

[youth pastor voice] You know who else had one volume knob and one pickup on the bridge, but shredded like an angel?

Oh yes, exactly!

Except, I am only a mere mortal, who needs 4 knobs for 2 pickups.
It is worth noting that some of the "Classic Coke..." Van Halen was also played on what was most likely an Ibanez Destroyer.

I'm now at the part where I need to solder the electronics, but I'm having some trouble finding the right schematic. I'm a total noob at this, so it's a little intimidating. I am happy to dive in, but I could use some more expert guidance. This would be a lot easier if I was doing a traditional Gibson LP wiring, but it's not. I've got a humbucker and a p90, four knobs, two orange caps, and two treble bleeds I want to experiment with.

The black/white/red/braided wires are for the humbucker neck pickup and the blue/white/black cloth threaded wires are for the P90 bridge pickup. I've got a three-way switch and a mono input. If you can see, the bridge is only screwed in loosely to hold the pickup in place, because the wires go through a port, so it seemed easier to just have the bridge not flop around while trying to do this.

I've got 3 feet of extra cloth wiring (which seems like more than enough), an input jack and plenty of solder and a soldering iron, so I am ready to go. I need to practice soldering a little before I do this, but I have read and watched videos on soldering and understand what is needed.
