If I could spend five minutes of my life as completely into something as the vocalist of Complete is about being the vocalist of Complete, well then I'd think I had reached some sort of life accomplishment pinnacle.

Here is an interview from the same show as all of these video clips.
I enjoyed this band.

Steve just made me listen to this band and I have to say I had to really sit down in a quiet place all alone and and really focus on what was going here. And let me tell you this band is the farthest thing from crap!! This band is honestly having the time of there lives, and could really give a shit if the rest of the people are into it cause they are.

Beatiful Sunrises

I love that "beautiful" is misspelled on the video. Very fitting. I prefer the misspelling.

Nope-- in keeping with the heady intellectualization of the name "Complete," one can only expect their clever spelling of "Beatiful" to reflect "beatification" or "Beat culture" in the same manner of The Beatles.

Some have criticized Complete for going pop and losing their relevance on "Hot As Hell," however, thanks to the overly commercial-sounding intro guitar hook. However, the bass line locking in at the tritone to the guitar line keeps the music honest.

(Seriously, I really have to appreciate this. "Beatiful Sunrises" sounds like they were genuinely experimenting with noise and came up with something original that they certainly dug, and if you can listen to what they did on their (not necessarily your) terms, you can get something out of it. Zero pandering here. What more can you ask?)

i absolutely unironically love this band. i would go as far to say that i CHERISH these videos. i laugh when i watch, but that's just a side effect. this definitely warms my heart with memories of my musical naviety, but not just that. this music/performance came from a place of complete (no pun intended) honesty.

i've shown these videos to several of my closest friends. about half are with me. i feel closer to those that are as a result.
