Les Paul style, bridge humbucker, JCM800?

'Les Paul style' is as close as anyone's gonna get. It's actually a Carvin dc-150, but it's all mahogany, humbuckers (albeit unexeptional Carvin ones), has the LP style bridge, weighs about as much as a LP, etc.

the amp's not a JCM-800 though.

I guess it would be good to try and work at it from the broad to the specific... tube amp, yes? it sounds nice and touch responsive, so I assume tubes. it really sounds like an AC30, I thought. is it a 4 x EL84-based amp?

all tube. the guitar itself is actually a bit on the dark side, which should tell you this amp is exceptionally bright. i can see where you're getting VC-30, but it's still quite off..

ok, since this has all but died... it was a silverface Bassman cranked-->Marshall 1960 Lead cab.

aw man, I just checked in and you already gave it away?!?! I was gonna guess "something Fender or Marshall" what with the brightness. oh well.

I might have another one or few to post this weekend. didn't make it to the space last night, so...
