Hey man, you don't have buy all the ressurection, holy spirit shit. I don't. But the dude Jesus was a real dude, not some supernatural being. This is just historical fact .

Jesus's existence has not been historically established. No contemporary documentation of the event, no archaeological proof, nothing certain exists today to attest to the truth of a real presence.

Yawn! It's so comforting to know that a woman is in jail for giving a name to a stuffed bear and all people can do is argue whether or not jesus existed.

It's really, really hard at times not to point out that this is essentially like having someone deported for not showing due reverence to your Dungeons & Dragons game or Star Trek fan fiction.

It's hard to be the 'each to their own' guy all the time. I want people to follow their own faith but I am really sick of the horrible damage ridiculous religious dogma continues to cause. Honestly, I'd like to see all of the Semitic Religions die out. I wonder if this makes me a terrible person? Does anyone else get this feeling?

Yes.

I abandoned my charitable, 'who knows?' position a few years ago.

Now my position is 'give me a break on the god blab already.'

The more magic is pressed upon me, the less tolerant I am of other people's belief in it.

I read that, in the Koran, the more recent texts are to be taken more literally and more seriously than older texts, and that it just so happens that the more recent texts contain more intolerant, violent, nasty, bigoted shit than older stuff.

I believe you're referring to abrogation.
