Me too!
That, and Hellboy.
I was told that the bad guys in Hellboy Dos resemble Norwegian Black Metallers!
I am excited!
Metallers, you are *cute* like lil bunnies!

I think I saw an article on that there are sections of the film that were shot with some sort of camera that is designed for the IMAX format.
That seems to justify the extra dough for the IMAX showing.
Definitely see it in IMAX. Several scenes were shot with IMAX cameras and it's impossible to recreate the brightness, richness, and sheer scale of that format in any other way. Nolan deliberately avoided CGI as much as possible, especially in the IMAX-shot scenes, to give the movie both epic heft and gritty photorealism.
I've got a full-on geek chub for this movie. Can't wait.

Can't wait for Dark Knight.
Hellboy was pretty weak though. Generic plot, lines, script.
Some of the creatures were cool, but overall just another fanboy movie.

They had the IMAX premier across the street from my job yesterday. I was walking across the street and
I see the fucking Batmobile. The real one. From the movie. Someone was driving it. Awesome.

My friend Greg works with a guy who is getting one. An actual Batmobile, built by the guys who built the movie one.
So
freakin'
jealous.

Roger Ebert gives it a four star rave.
http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080716/REVIEWS/55996637. It seems to be getting universal praise. I can't wait to see it also.

Supposed to see the opening midnight showing, then again on Saturday at an IMAX theater.
It'd be funny if this movie sucked and I wasted $25 before even seeing it, but chances are probably higher that I have a tumorous mutant living on my rib cage.
