If one of my bandmates came to practice with this idea for a song and video, I'd either kick them out of the band or or quit right there on the spot.

83Two prominent 'drum moments' from when I first started going to shows in the early 80s.
First was when I saw Deep Purple. Standing on my chair on the arena floor, every time the bass drum was struck, my windbreaker would flap back from the air displacement.
Phil Collins playing his duets with Chester Thompson at the end of Genesis shows, and their sync'd tom fills were thunderous.
Also, my singing voice sits at a pretty high register, so when I would sing in my car, it was fun taking Collins' parts on early Genesis when he was backing up Gabriel's lead vocals. I listened to Supper's Ready in my car a couple of months ago, and I can still hit it even at 58, so I've got that going for me.
