I always wanted to hear more of the bass player singing on their albums.

I can't recall the first, but the second time I saw them was when VeeVee just came out at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ and the bass player sang a decent amount and had a really great voice

The bassist also does one hell of a Tracy Pew impression, as documented elsewhere on this forum.
