Have you ever felt like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia never quite lived up to its promise? Like the characters are amusing and scummy but completely 2d with no real development - just a different situation every episode with the same predictable reactions over and over?

Such Brave Girls is sort of the antidote. It's about a woman and her two grown daughters trying to screw over everyone they meet for their own self gain while dealing with their own problems and mental illnesses. Kind of like a darker, grimmer version of Peep Show.
Very funny and very well written.
This is indeed excellent. Kind of a cross up of Arrested Development and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but British. Highly recommended.

Totally. I was really looking forward to this (plus Apple TV was pushing it constantly), and those first two episodes definitely delivered. Seehorn was so great in BCS and is great in Plur1bus so far. Excited to see where it goes.

I’m into it, and not just because I think Rhea Seehorn is the foxiest gal in showbiz. I hated to see her assistant go in the first episode, because I thought she did an outstanding job. I hope she shows up again, somehow.
